Projectors

Projectors use various display technologies such as LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), DLP (Digital Light Processing), or LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) to project the image.

Projectors are workhorses in the world of audio-visual equipment. They take a video or image signal and project it onto a large surface, like a screen or wall, creating a magnified image for a wider audience. Projectors use powerful lamps or lasers to generate a bright light source. This light passes through a series of lenses that project the image from a source (like a computer, Blu-ray player, or gaming console) onto a projection screen.

Types of Projectors: There are two main types of projectors used in AV equipment:

  • Video Projectors: These are the most common type, typically used for presentations, home cinema setups, and public displays. They project video signals, allowing you to display movies, games, presentations, or even live video feeds on a large screen.
  • Data Projectors: These projectors are specifically designed for displaying computer-generated content, such as presentations, spreadsheets, and charts. They prioritize clarity and sharpness for text and graphics.
